When you create an account, we collect your username, email address, and any profile details you add (such as your country). When you submit fan art, memes, photos, or articles, we store that content along with your account association. When you vote, predict a score, or earn Viking Coins, we record that activity against your account.
Newsletter
If you sign up for our newsletter, your email address is stored with Brevo, our email service provider, and used only to send you updates about the site. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter email.
Automatic emails
Registered members automatically receive email notifications for certain site events, such as new blog posts and contest results. This is separate from the newsletter and tied to having an account.
Cookies
We use cookies required for you to stay logged in and for the site to function correctly. We don't currently use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use your information
We use your information to operate the site's features (accounts, submissions, voting, contests, coins), to communicate with you about your account, and to send newsletter or notification emails you've opted into or that come with having an account.
Sharing your information
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help run the site (such as our hosting provider and Brevo for email), to the extent necessary for them to provide that service.
